Warren McKenna, MFA, CAE, is President and CEO of AgencyMcKenna, where he helps organizations revitalize strategic marketing + digital to achieve brand advocacy with customers. With over 20 years of management experience, he focuses on strategic and tactical issues that drive the development of branding, digital, marketing and communications programs for B2B and B2C companies, mission-driven associations and nonprofits that want to change the world.

Warren is a CAE, Certified Association Executive, the highest professional credential in association and non-profit management. Warren received an MFA in Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Executive Education Certificates from University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business and a BFA is Visual Communications from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Warren loves a great story and brandthropology. His favorite director is Michael Mann, whose genius at the helm of the movie Heat earned the film a spot on Warren’s top-5 list. Warren loves comedy and met Tom Hanks and Jackie Gleason on a film set as a kid growing up on the north side of Chicago. Warren lived in Japan for two years, was Art Director for a monthly magazine in Tokyo and loves Japanese food, language and culture. When not leading the team and supporting clients by building their brand story, you can find him on his bicycle or actively staying in shape to keep up with his amazing teenage daughters.

ELIZABETH MCKENNA, CAE

Bonjour!

A 20-year veteran in interactive/digital/social networking, Elizabeth brings expertise in business strategy and user-centered design to drive digital marketing solutions. As Managing Partner, Elizabeth is responsible for setting the strategic direction, planning and leadership across a variety of clients’ business groups. By analyzing and understanding a broad and diverse marketplace, she and her team develop solutions to meet user and customer needs and help clients grow their business through increased brand awareness, preference and by supporting advocacy and loyalty in the greater digital ecosystem.

Elizabeth delivers marketing strategies and communication plans for client campaigns that serve both B2C and B2B markets. She leads and directs a team of strategists, user experience and visual designers, and technologists to brainstorm and ideate programs that drive customer acquisition, conversion and revenue using new media and Internet technologies. Prior to joining MDG, Elizabeth served as Group Account Director at The Designory / Agency.com and as the Director of Information Architecture for iXL New York managing teams of up to 30 consultants. She graduated with a B.A. from Lake Forest College with distinguished honors in English Literature and French.

When not delivering great work for great clients, Elizabeth is tending to her English and Perennial Gardens and learning Italian. Elizabeth lives with her husband, two daughters and two tango-loving dogs, Coco and Cash. She loves the timelessness of classic and iconic brands, such as Chanel.

KIMBERLEY BREEN

Whether working in broadcast media, public relations or marketing communications, Kimberly helps clients deliver relevant, meaningful messages to connect with their customers. In Kimberly’s role as Engagement Manager, she builds and maintains strong relationships, with excellent and timely project delivery as her primary function. Her marketing philosophy is to provide more value and relevance to clients by leveraging razor-sharp strategy, design and technology solutions.

Kimberly’s skill at breaking through communication barriers leads to successful campaigns in print and digital. Writing comes second-nature to her, and she coaches MDG’s cross-functional teams to make sure messaging is as simple and compelling as possible. She has worked with both domestic and international clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial PVF (pipe, valve, fittings), chemical and petrol engineering.

An equestrian in her youth, Kimberly has a BA in American Culture from Vassar College. She enjoys reading crime novels, designing needlepoint ornaments and spending time in nature with her four-legged friends, Wesley and Lincoln, aka “The Lads.” Kimberly has embraced the Dove campaign, Be Your Beautiful Self, for its message of acceptance and inclusion.

Senior Marketing Manager

BRENDA BERMAN, MS

Agency McKenna’s Senior Marketing Manager, Brenda has a long and successful history of developing strategic marketing and communications for clients in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Brenda applies her keen listening skills and client-centric focus to craft solutions in the areas of brand strategy, marketing and communication planning, advertising, and content marketing and development. She is known for leading complex projects that build brand awareness, strengthen reputation, engage audiences, and grow ROI.

Prior to joining Agency McKenna, Brenda was a consultant to mission-driven organizations and Senior Director of Marketing at Columbia College Chicago. She has taught communications at Roosevelt University and the City Colleges of Chicago. She holds a bachelor’s in psychology from Northwestern University and a master’s in marketing communications from Illinois Institute of Technology.

In her free time, Brenda loves exploring architecture and listening to jazz. She has had the honor of conversing with Gloria Steinem and having dinner with Earth, Wind & Fire, as well as going backstage at a Grateful Dead concert with a Buddhist monk in saffron robes. She loves disruptive campaigns with engaging mascots, such as Progressive (Flo), Allstate (Mayhem), Geico (the gecko), Aflac (the duck) etc. because they are relatable, entertaining and have endless “legs.”

SLOANE MOORE, MBA

As an entrepreneurially minded marketer, Sloane enjoys using both creative and analytical skills to solve complex problems for AgencyMcKenna clients. With more than 10 years experience in digital marketing and demand generation, she has gained deep knowledge of SEO/SEM, lead nurturing, content marketing, email marketing and marketing automation. She is certified in both Hubspot and SharpSpring, and qualified in Google Analytics.

Sloane is passionate about applying inbound marketing principles to marketing, sales and product/service initiatives to drive business growth. Given her many skills, she is involved in everything from planning overall digital marketing programs to writing emails for lead nurturing workflows, to planning out new content initiatives, to tracking down holes in the lead generation funnel.

Sloane graduated from Brown University with a double major in Music and International Relations, and earned an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Outside of work, she enjoys rummaging through used bookstores and antique shops, taking cooking classes and attending concerts or the opera. Other favorite pastimes include reading and spending time with her pet orange tree, Fred.

ALEX CORRAO

Leveraging his background in product design, marketing, branding and social media management, Alex develops measurable engagement solutions with all aspects of a client’s business in mind. He designs customer journeys that incorporate branded experiences to bring user-centered delight to our clients’ customers.

Alex is known for pushing creative boundaries with out-of-the-box solutions. His broad range of skills include marketing research, digital marketing plans, photography, animation, video editing, and graphic design. Alex graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design. An avid maker and creator, he has used his 3D printer to produce Star Wars Lightsabers and branded prototypes. Alex is inspired by the Disney brand and its ability to transport fans to the edges of their imagination. In his free time, he enjoys a cappella singing, hanging out with Pixel the cat, and exploring culinary adventures in his kitchen.

Jessica transforms clients’ brands through digital and print communications that move, inform and engage their audiences. Her design work at Agency McKenna includes projects from creative briefs to logo design, from print collateral to ad and social media campaigns, and everything in between. She is detailed, quick on her feet, a great team player and all about clear communication. Jessica tackles design challenges with a fresh perspective on branding and layout grounded in research that provides a deep understanding of every client. 

Jessica graduated with a bachelor’s in graphic design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she worked as a designer in the Office of Vice Chancellor for Research. When she’s not designing, she enjoys cooking colorful meals, playing with her chocolate lab, Indy, or making a run to Target, which she appreciates for its welcoming “designing for all” philosophy.

RAJESH SHARMA

Rajesh leverages his technical capabilities on solutions-oriented IT and software development programs at Agency McKenna. He has over 24 years of broad-based experience with web-based and client/server-based applications, database design and development, as well as customization of packaged-products, including association management software, content management systems and e-commerce platforms. B2B and nonprofit clients include ADP, IRI, R.R. Donnelly, Godivas.com, T-Shirts.com, NCSBN, HIMSS and others.

Raj is a Microsoft .NET developer building successful solutions for client organizations. Program specialties include programming in ASP.NET, VB.NET, Visual Basic, VB Script, JavaScript, SQL.

Raj earned his PGDSM in computer science from the National Institute of Information Technology and a BS in physics from University of Mumbai. He lives with his wife in the western suburbs of Chicago. When he’s not solving business issues with technology solutions, he’s busy sorting and cataloging his extensive collection of all things collectible  — most recently, sculptured coffee mugs.

Database Architect & Software Developer

Vaishali Sharma (Vee)

Hello!

With experience in everything from IT strategy and execution to creating innovation solutions using Microsoft .NET development tools, Vaishali brings a level of detail and thoroughness to web application development at Agency McKenna. Vaishali designs and develops database architectures and systems that serve as the back-end of both web and mobile applications. Her experience working in both traditional and Agile methodologies, as well as organization, position her as a strong leader in the technology group.

Her prior experience includes serving as VP of IT for Tshirts.com. When she’s not developing applications and managing IT-related programs, Vaishali loves to cook and travel – including a Europe backpacking trip most recently. She has her degree from the University of Pune and is a sunny member of the AM team.
