OUR CHALLENGE.
As Marin County Association of REALTORS® approached their 100th anniversary, they were looking to transform their organization. They wanted to reverse a “tired brand” and present themselves as the progressive, innovative and valuable association they are. Marin needed to reinvigorate how they present themselves to current and future members.
Marin is a beautiful pocket just outside San Francisco. Home to 1,500 REALTORS®, they also needed to increase member engagement. With the goal to enhance access to education, resources and programming to empower members. Change was coming, and we needed to ensure it was going to be big.
OUR SOLUTION.
Agency McKenna worked to deliver more impact for Marin REALTORS®. We positioned their organization as a dynamic, tech-savvy and indispensable member resource.
First, we envisioned a new brand for MARIN REALTORS®. Then we developed a ground-up website, including new technology to help members easily access county data that was previously confusing, hard to find and could impact the transaction for buyers and sellers.
A BRAND FOR THE FUTURE.
Agency McKenna developed a new brand identity that tells a compelling story. With a new name and a new look, we envisioned a new brand that emphasized the organization’s brand attributes and value proposition. New colors, typography, and graphic elements all enhanced an adventurous, outdoorsy image of Marin REALTORS®. The new brand cements relationships with their members and delivers value to consumers and clients.
BUILDING BRAND EQUITY.
Once the new brand was finalized, we developed an integrated system that builds consistency in all touch points of the branded experience. This signals to everyone—including members, consumers and community partners, their dedication to transparency, diversity, equity and inclusion.
ACTIVATING THE BRAND.
Agency McKenna developed a new, more robust website that enhances the Association’s value to members who then capture that value to serve clients with professionalism. Equipped with education, membership benefits, the latest news and resources for consumers, the new website provides an engaging and immersive experience.

ENGAGEMENT.
Marin REALTORS® staff needed a one-stop shop for their association events, education, courses and CE calendar. With a direct API integration with Rapattoni, their association management software, staff now avoids double entries, errors, and missed opportunities for non-dues revenue. The new online calendar saves staff time and provides members with up-to-date events quicker—making everyone happier. Registrations have increased significantly as a result.
